Color and Hierarchy

There are different examples worth covering to explain the relationship of color and hierarchy. Type with warm colors will appear to stand out above type with cooler colors. When set right next to each other the warmer color will appear to be advancing while the type with a cooler color will appear to recede. When working with the color of type and the background color legibility is the biggest factor to be concerned about. Color value and temperature are factors that effect the legibility. Changing the color hues effects the spatial position of and element. You can have one layout and change the hues of type and the change in hue will affect how someone will view and portray the layout.
