As I have said before there is logic and reasoning to everything in design. We learned a little more about this in the world of marketing and research analysis for companies today in our New Media Development class. We learned about all the research, data, and analytics that are the driving forces of a lot of digital marketing strategies. As a designer it was interesting to see the importance of understanding my target audience when I am designing things. The placement of elements or layout of a composition effects the amount of views you might get on a website or post. I will make it my goal to have a good understanding of who I am serving when I am designing. It’s the foundation which everything is based off of.
